Together, We Can Do More.

Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to creating a more equitable and compassionate Manitoba. We invite you to be a part of this transformative journey by contributing to our cause. Your act of kindness will echo in the lives of countless individuals, providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Thank you for standing with us in our mission to ensure that all Manitobans receive the peer support they deserve.

Together, we can build a brighter, more connected future for our beloved province.

Community Fundraisers

In May, Jenna Rae hosted a cupcake fundraiser. Cupcake purchases from Academy, Island Lakes, or The Forks (in-store or through SkipTheDishes) and online platforms resulted in 5% of sales being donated to our cause. Thank you for your support!

peer-connections-manitoba-fundraising-iris-galaCelebrating 25 years of success, the Iris Gala is an annual event organized by a dedicated committee of volunteers at The Gates on Roblin. This inspiring gathering involves finding sponsors, meticulous set-up, and assembling luxurious prizes. Countless meetings and time commitments are poured into making it a grand success. Each year, the Gala raises over $50,000 for the invaluable cause of supporting Peer Connections Manitoba. We are immensely grateful for these partnerships that make a positive impact on our community.

In 2022, Yvonne’s Holiday Zumba Masterclass at Lindenwood Community Centre was a smashing success, attracting over 50 enthusiastic attendees. The event was an electrifying experience, filled with high energy, invigorating Zumba sessions, delicious pizza, and exciting prizes. Through the collective generosity of participants, over $1200 was raised, making a meaningful contribution to a worthy cause. The Zumba group’s heartwarming tradition of supporting a different charity each year continues to spread joy and create a positive impact in the community.

Dedicated to the memory of Justice William Drake Chester, who passed away on July 31, 2021, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of art and music. On his birthday, October 21, friends and family gathered to celebrate his life and passion for music by listening to the tunes he cherished dearly.

This heartfelt event was not only a tribute to his memory but also a platform to raise funds for a cause he deeply believed in – peer support. The family, recognizing the importance of such support systems, rallied together, and through the event’s collective efforts, over $3000 was raised.

Halloween Forever continues to honor Justice’s life and the values he held dear, leaving a lasting impact on those who loved him and the community he touched.
